I was in the process of setting my mom up for Public mobile, following the exact same steps I used to activate my own SIM card, and at the end of the process it said it could not complete the activation and to try again with a different credit card (card used was a Visa). However, any time I input the SIM card number, it says invalid SIM number.
I reached out to the PM team through facebook last night but haven't heard back. Does the community have any suggestions?
@Mary_M Is there anything that the MODs could suggest or do for me to activate the service?

I dont think there is a text message telling you the porting has begun. at leaset I never got one.
Only got one welcoming me to PM when it was all completed.
I would PM a mod with you SIM number and number you are porting if you havent already.

Update: Number is now showing on the SIM card, however no text was ever sent indicating the port process was beginning, and her account is still not created. I have PMed the mods, but at least there's been some forward momentum. Will wait for further updates.

Dont think there is anything else you can do your self. Try a private message to the moderators, and they should get back to you with a resolution.
