Hello I thought I closed this account a year ago and found out that it is not the case (the email address is not my work email address). So now I have been charge for a year without knowing/using. I was thinking about activating a sim for my sister.

I have thought the same thing when he hear about this issue.
Some people do a lot of transactions on their cards month in month out. All those transactions just get to be a lot mixed in with a coffee and a new bed. I might look at larger numbers. But all the little 20, 30, 40 whatevers...meh. But these issues also made me think I should also at least peruse the merchant. Wait...Public? That sort of thing. So I can get why these charges would get missed.

Wow, you didn’t know you were charged for a year. If your account is still Active and opening an account for your sister, why don’t you give your SIM to your sister and change the CC in the accounts to her CC and contact a CS_Agent to change the email to her email address.
This way she can keep all your Rewards.
