You can unsubscribe from your subscription. That will stop pre authorized payments. On the next renewal date, your account will be suspended. Once suspended over 90 days, your account will be permanently closed and number lost.
If you want to keep your number, you can port to another mobile company. Once the port is done, your PM account is closed permanently.
