This new system is asking for me to verify my account but the issue is that the email that is with my account doesn't work anymore how can I change the email cause I need to top up my account

The registered email address is just a login. You only need to remember your password. But if you are suspended then you can't do it. So if you use the other methods of payment and additionally real time payments in some stores then you will reactivate the account and then you can verify yourself using SMS. Then you can login. If you like then you could turn off the 2FA login option. It would still be needed for some other changes in your account.

But yes also as mentioned, you'll need support to change the registered email address

Only agent can update your account email.

HI @Amandaharris38   You can ask to change your email address for My Account login.  To do so, you need help from PM CS Agent:

 

To open a ticket with PM CS Agent. at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:

 

First type: "Forgot log in information"
Then Click "Contact Us"
Finally Click "Click here to submit a ticket"
you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

Once ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

 

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the CS Agent (but this can take longer):

@Amandaharris38  - can you top up by calling 611, if you have a card registered on your account?

In order to change the email connected to your My Account, you need to ask a CSA to do that for you.
