I want to set up my data as it requests but I can't find the APN settings on my Moto z2 play. Anyone else know where to look. There is no "more" button in my settings.

Android phones are pretty good at getting this info right. on step 5 instead of tapping on mobile network settings. just tap on network reset enter the passcode if you have one>tap reset and restart your phone.

you can also go into mobile network>network operators>search

  • choose the desired network - Public Mobile and restart

@Thinlane  If you are using an Android device the APN settings that @iliketotalk  posted are the correct ones. You do not need to enter APN Type or the MVNO info as those fields will automatically get populated by your device.

@geopublic  thank you for making me aware of that

@Thinlane

Under "Mobile network Settings, You should see  "APN" which is a short form of  "Access Point Names"

Once you click that there should be an  + Botton that you can manually input the APN settings.

Here are the settings

Name: Public Mobile
APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Leave blank
Port: Leave blank
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank
Server: Leave blank
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMSC proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Leave blank
APN type: Leave blank

Once you add them, click Save!
You can restart your phone afterwards

Edit your apn settings, save, enable data, restart your phone and try to send an mms text message and to access data. Let us know if this doesn't work. Stay safe.
