Hello all, today I activated my Public sim, set it up, and attempted to connect to data on my Android 8.1 device. I realized shortly after that you have to set up an APN on Android phones in order to get proper connection. However after setting up the APN as per the official post when trying to save the APN I get hit with this error every time:
After this I tried fiddling around with various settings including this set of settings, but the same error always came up. If anybody has an idea of how to fix this please let me know ASAP!

Hey everyone, this post is intended to share some info I learned rather than ask a question, so if I'm in violation of the forum rules please let me know.
tl;dr: The F-03L is compatible with PM, texting calling and LTE data transmission works flawlessly
Recently I imported a Japanese flip phone intending on using it with a PM sim card, but I encountered a couple roadblocks along the way. Firstly, as this is an older Android phone you are required to manually set up an APN. I did so by creating the APN from the mobile data menu in settings, then inputting the following info into their respective fields:
At this point if you try to save the APN profile it will throw you an error reading "Carrier does not allow adding APNs of type *. In order to get around this you will need to hold down the power button and restart the phone after inputting the APN profile information. Upon restarting your phone should have no problem connecting to the internet via LTE.
This is a wonderful semi-modern device and so far I have had no issues using it on Public's network. I highly recommend that the PM team add this phone to their list of supported devices. If needed I can provide additional information and testing. That's all, and I hope this was helpful! 😁

Apologies for the late reply everyone, I figured out the issue on my own.
For some reason my device simply would not allow me to save the APN profile in one way or another, so I tried filling in the APN fields and then shutting down my phone. Upon restarting the APN profile had successfully been created, yay! I will make a dedicated post elsewhere on the forum to better document my experience in the hope that it can help others. Thanks everyone!
