Please I just got a new sim card for my kids' phone, and I've been stuck with activating it because I keep getting an error that the App is not available in my region. I live in Kingston, and my region is set as Ontario. I'm frustrated.

I use an Iphone, and don't know how to sideload.

Thank you. I confirm that the region is set to Canada, and I use an Iphone. I'm done with this silly set-up idea from Public Mobile, it makes no sense. My best bet now will be to use a friend's phone for the set up.

@Temmy is your app store set as US or other country? The regional check, which is common for many mobile carrier apps, is set based on the app store region setting
You can either change it back to Canada or sideload it if you are using Android. An alternative way is to use another phone ( maybe from another friend) with app store set to Canada , to temporary install the app and complete the activation. You don't need the app anymore after activation
