I'm confused why 

90-day province-calling 3+3 3G global text is $126

Switching to No text is $142.

Am I missing something?

@SD08 once again I wish PM would listen to feedback and actually make changes.  Months ago the oracles asked for the system to catch when people were leaving out texting when for the same amount (back then it was always a wash with the extra $45 credit) or now even less money, it could be included, and to prompt people to include it for free (or in this case for even less).

What you're seeing is correct. It's actually cheaper to have texting than to not include it when you subscribe to talk and data. It's because the bundle discount is -$60 when you select three services, but only -$15 with two services, while the texting item itself costs $29.

If you've started a plan with talk and data, but without texting, you can ask a moderator to change the plan to add texting for you, because it doesn't cost any extra.
