5G Speed

I have a subscription for 5G but my data speed is always LTE/3G despite the fact that my phone is compatible for 5G speed. I know Rogers is sued by regulators to advertise incorrect info about their data, I hope it is not the same with Public mobile.

@yasirdildar   Unfortunately that phone has been said not to show 5G on Public Mobile but you should get good enough speeds on LTE.

My phone is S20 FE, I get 5G when connected with home internet.

@yasirdildar   What phone do you have?  It may say it can do 5G but not all do on Public Mobile (some Samsung for example).  But the speed should be pretty good still on LTE, my last speedtest on LTE was 194Mbps down and 26Mbps up.  I thought the regulators were suing Rogers because they call some plans "unlimited" whereas in fact they are throttled after the end of a data bucket.  Not sure why Rogers got singled out for that since other carriers do it too.

Actual speed varies and would depend on many factors.

5G is more marketing thing than real performance so I would not expect FULL speed as advertised.
