1B1 Error - Cannot phone another number

ruzy9793

Whenever I try to phone a specific number, there's a message saying "1B1. The client your are trying to reach is not available at this moment. Please try again later."  The other person did not block me, and they even changed providers, and yet this error continues to happen. I can make outgoing calls to other numbers, and this number can call me just fine.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? This has been a problem for over a month.

Thank you!

HI @sophia123321  you are on $15 plan?

You can receive calls no problem and can use mobile data?

Try reboot the phone first, then try clicking Reset All neworks or Reset network settings on your phone and see if it helps

I am calling China. I only get this message with Public Mobile. It works on my other cell phone to the same number

HI @Achow12

is that about you calling China or you are calling specific number and getting this? or you called any number and always got that?

Call forwarding is turned off

@HALIMACS

I know which post you were checking 🤣  I was a bit confused with that, too but the call forwarding enable thing, I think it is something to check on the receiving end, not on OP's end.

@ruzy9793

Check whether Call Forwarding is enabled on your phone (edit: and their phone) or not.

The code 1B1 may relate to a call forwarding error of some sort.

To check, tap the Phone icon, then tap the menu icon (three dots) in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Select Call settings then tap Additional settings or Supplementary Services.

Select Call forwarding and check that Always forward is set to Off.
