Once switching to public mobile my son's blue tooth doesn't work with the sound. It causes a lag in the video.It works fine before switching networks

I initially tried setting up my son's phone with a ESIM from my phone and all his info ported onto my phone. I've now bought him a SIM card and am trying to register him but it is not connecting to a network... Not sure how to resolve this.
