I’m a new user as well, exact same problem with my phone and my wife’s.I have sent a ticket yesterday to get this fixed but haven’t heard anything back, how long does this usually take.
You won’t be charged extra, it’ll work the same as if you were at home, but you need to put on data roaming and I find using T-Mobile or AT&T works the best, works flawlessly
