I called the porting team, they said they don't deal with Public mobile... I must;ve recieved the wrong number from support...

yes and I even called to confirm that they did indeed release the number to Public mobile.

Sent thanks message. I called my old provider and they already released the number

Called the number recieved in private messages. Ended up with Telus and they basically told me they cannot help. Thanks.
