I had a similar experience when I changed credit card info, the new card didn't go through. I finally have to switch to another card and service was reinstated. Not sure why some cards are not accepted.
Can you cancel current plan and sign up the plan of your choice again? I sign up on the latter one and it's correctly listed in my account which will take effect at next renewal date as intended.
