Not enough data showing in settings

I just switched to public mobile on 3 of our family phones. Purchased each 2.5 GB and it is showing only 30.8 MB

I am looking at the settings / cellular on the phone and I am now realizing that maybe when I read current period that it is what i have used so far.....??
