While very tasty as per usual my mom's recipe is light on instructions and I seem to recall now that the recipe called for the muffin method rather than a cake method for preparation. Which made me think about how even more delicious it could be using a pumpkin muffin recipe I stumbled across recently. This is a very forgiving recipe allowing for multiple substitutions or additions (I added raisins and vanilla yogurt.) I suggest you add 1/2 tsp of allspice if you have it and cut the sugar in half.

That cake does look mighty fine….I love pumpkin. Will have to google for the recipe.

Of course it's a "bachelor's" B-Day cake - after all, we're talkin' about pumpkin spice cake washed down with beer..... does it get more "bachelor" than that! 😜

I don’t think that I could choose just 1 favourite, I think they would all be my favourite!

I have some catching up to do.....wanna guess my favourite?
Spicy grilled tiger prawns w/basmati rice, grilled cauliflower, mushrooms, peppers, cuke & tomato
Creamy lobster and scallop pasta w/ white wine and garlic.
Ordered in....mediocre Thai food.....meh!
Basil pesto pasta w/ prawns, scallop and cherry tomatoes.
Beef tenderloin and prawn souvlaki w/grilled veggies, baked potato and American Greek salad.
Beef and shrimp stir fry w/ potato salad à la leftovers
Bachelor's birthday cake...Pumpkin spice cake w/vanilla cream cheese frosting and walnuts.

Uhm.... you mean for the 2nd hip job? 🤔 As for having problems walking, I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with those EXTREMELY knobby knees up there. 🤣

Close.....but darlicious has been around for about 30 years when I first started working on a cartoon cookbook of the same name....I really should revisit that idea and get back to working on more of the 10 or so completed cartoon recipes. So @CFPartDeux does know me quite well.....

That's one way of looking at it, but I'd hazard a guess that's NOT how she came up with it..... 😉 😁

I can see why your PM Community name is @darlicious. It's a play on words for all the "delicious" food you post on PM Lounge. 😋 I'm impressed! One question, How long does it take you on average to make a dish? All that food looks so scrumptious!

Cool rainy weather calls for warm spicy comfort food. Chili inspired "stoup" w/Italian sausage, onion, celery, carrot, green and yellow bell peppers, mushrooms, cannelini beans, garlic, Italian seasoning, chili powder, red wine and canned tomatoes ( ok I had no tomatoes so I used a jar of medium salsa and half a jar of my sister's antipasto and 1/2 a cup of water to rinse the jars out and a splash of coca cola to balance the acidity.) Garnished w/sour cream and chopped green onions.
Again the pixel wins for foodie pics over the moto g7+ and the Samsung A320.

Yes, I have an air fryer similar to what you have…..it also has a rotisserie, and a basket for fries. I agree that chicken turns out excellent in it. I use it at least twice a week. I have that one at home, and the basket type at the trailer. I also use my Instant Pot quite a bit. I love to cook so have all the kitchen gadgets…lol

@TessieBoo Theres so many things that you can do in the air fryer, we love ours as its got two levels so we can do fries and meats at the same time, but we find that chicken is amazing in it.

Didn't someone try that in the air frying thread?
