Vaccine Card - got it!

Just got my vaccine card online tonight! Quick and easy.

I don’t plan on going to any concerts, casinos, movie theatres, gyms or sporting events where you need the proof of vaccination, but I do plan on going out to the occasional restaurant or pub where proof is needed.

Aaaaand, I just got mine a short while ago - the site said the same thing about the wait time, but in my case it actually took about a minute, as opposed to 84 mins. 👍

This visit a service bc office is the biggest Blarney Stone yet....the nearest one used to be maple ridge

WHAT!?!? SERIOUSLY??? 😲 I've been in the M.R. one numerous times, but REALLY, you live in Vancouver and M.R. was the closest Service BC office!?!? That sounds..... well..... hard to believe..... 😲

 @darlicious : Need? I would certainly go there and get verified in person. I would be quite sure there would be a few staff around. All of those that don't have a smartphone or internet/printer should be going to an office to get their printout if they wish to go to the restricted places.

This visit a service bc office is the biggest Blarney Stone yet....the nearest one used to be maple ridge but I see they have finally opened one downtown. With only four services.....any idea what they are?

I downloaded the app the other day. Didn't want to do the video thing so went in to a BC Services office and got verified. Got the virtual vaccine card yesterday too.

Apparently places can view the proof and not scan it.

So I have the screenshot of the card without the QR and my middle name.

I have the BC Services card (I have the two cards, not combined with drivers license) with just my picture and short name.

I have the screenshot of the healthgateway covid shots page without middle name and birthdate.

I have the pharmacy card without birthdate.

All in an "album" on my main phone page.

We'll see how well all of that works.

I scanned the QR and it comes back with a long series of numbers. Not yet sure what they mean. They don't contain my health # in straight text. They're decimal not hex or oct.

That's awesome and it just gave me that this might be a good time to get it to avoid a long wait online. Alas like pm.....its down for site maintenance.😕
