Roughly after two years of the 13'' M2 MacBook Air & one year after the 15'' MacBook Air, Apple has decided to move on with the MacBook Air and introduce a new chipset that includes multiple new features and improvements like 3nm processor (Same as iPhone 15 Pro) with Wi-FI 6E & dual displays (When the lid of the Mac is closed.)
I currently own a MacBook Air M2 that I have owned for 1.3 years and it has been a superpower with the M2 Chip! There has been no outer shell improvements other than the Midnight colour having a new fingerprint coat to ensure that there are less fingerprints.
I don't see this as a major improvement to switch to the new Mac for me specifically, but whether you are on Android, Linux, Windows, Mac or iOS, they are all great in different ways.
