Lucky Mobile $15 plan

 Lucky mobile $15 plan is worse for calling as it counts incoming calls against the 100 minutes. But it’s better because it has “unlimited” data that slows down to really slow speeds. Give and take

@mimmo I agree.

Of course there are always people who want to pay for small data but just can't wean themselves off big data. UNLIMITED DATA looks pretty sweet, until people realize exactly how much data a $15 plan will really buy, then start looking at plan upgrades or add-ons (on Lucky) when it proves inadequate. That's why I call it marketing.

@Korth I do agree its toothless but is it better than no data period,? No WhatsApp, no email etc???

I have been on both sides arguing on this.  But for me it comes down to if you have the correct plan, you should never be without data or on the limited speed.

That "unlimited" data speed is good for text-over-data apps like Whatsapp, Signal, etc.

Maybe good for streaming audio/music at standard quality.

Maybe even good for light, light browsing. Or downloading some google map if you're so truly lost you can afford to wait half an hour each time you zoom around.

And of course it's good for keeping all that leechy unwanted background data trickling in and out.

It's otherwise just marketing. UNLIMITED sounds like a fantastic deal. 128kbps in this decade is too gutless, useless, and frustrating for most people and things outside of niche requirements.

Sorry my mistake, I thought you are talking about PM,  Lucky and Chatr both has unlimited data when go over limit but in slower speed.

And then the Lucky $15 plan doesn't do that. And nor can you add data add-ons...so the 250 is it. Unlike this place where you can add data add-ons to the limited minute plan(s).

Chatr is very similar to here but has several caveats that this place doesn't. Lucky is 128 and Chatr is 64 speed.

??

Public Mobile right? You didn't say. 🙂 I don't see unlimited at Lucky.
