Let’s keep asking 4 GB Data at 4G Speed

Maybe Pm will notice a lot of interest in the 4 GB Data at 4G Speed, and give it to loyal customers, not just new ones.

Well from the PM perspective they would argue that those who put considerable effort here are rewarded community points (for the help they give in the forums) as well as referral discounts (for people they bring) and as such maybe they would not want to give added bonuses. And the holiday bonus's are just bonuses so can't expect to get bonuses every year as then they won't be "bonuses". Anyways, what I am trying to say is that overall PM is running a business unfortunately and realistically they might not be thinking in the same way that users do; having got used to these bonuses etc. For new users for example none of these are issues; they just switch carriers and join public mobile they don't care about these issues that loyal users think about. So it's a matter of how many loyal users to please vs how many new activations; depending on the numbers you make a decision as a business.

Reality of the matter is, from what we know the 24 dollar plan isn't here to stay forever; it's a promotion to hook people up. Afterwards the 25 plan is what people have as it's more of a permanent plan. So although people won't jump on the 25 dollar plan right now, maybe they will when the promotions go away.

I agree, the $25 for 1 GB at 3G speed looks out of  place compared to the $24 for 4 GB plan.  Who’s going to jump on the $25 plan?

@HALIMACS  Might be but I’m of the opinion that cell plan will continue to get better by this time next year we will probably all be on 50GB for $34 . Or even a better plan .looking forward 2024 . As for the rewards who knows what’s going on there I’m sure it will get straightened out . But I agree there should have been some official word about it . And it’s unfortunate about the more is merrier holiday give away to . Just like the now expiring data add on . But this is the direction PM is going . So maybe if your not a person on old rewards and the new points system you really have nothing to lose by jumping around to the best deal being offered and come back when you do get the better offer here as new activation . I know by bouncing phone numbers around to the competition you set yourself up for win back plans that beat any new activation plans anyways I only care about my one PM account the rest I will switch tm should better plan be offered and have and came back and play the game that the carriers force us to play . What other option do we have other then to stay complacent and not bet the. New exciting deals 

Sure @Handy1 ... at times they do, when they make an error and open it up to everyone instead of the initial intent to limit it to new activations or Quebec customers.   Indeed, many of the folks who accounts I help with got in on the 40GB, $34 plan offering back on Black Friday so kinda lucky there.

The fact they've seemingly abandoned (or forgotten??) to not only deliver Holiday bonus's but also the November Community rewards being unacceptably late is concerning.

And what makes it more of a kick in the 🥜 is there's been no official word here on this Community forum from any Public Mobile staffer.

That's rightfully disconcerting to existing customers, some of who put in considerable effort here which simply pads their bottom line.

What gives Public Mobile?

@HALIMACS  Not entirely because I know they happen to give some the new activation only plans to existing customers at times . But no one wants to hear that they just want what they can’t have then and there . And we have became a society that cares more about how something makes “US “ feel rather than facts . So I submit to the gloom and doom outlook . That nothing will get better for existing loyal customers . ( thou I don’t truly believe that ) just seems to me know one hearing facts anymore . Just wow is me is what fuels the topics as of recently . So I’m playing victim now too why not join the winning team 

 

 

 

Simple thinking on their part, but I gotta admit it's effective @Fdrcamb & @Handy1 

They would rather get new activations from the unsuspecting folks who are just looking for a quick landing place with a mobile phone provider. 

They continuously dangle the carrot to new activations right in front of our faces, almost as if to say, "you guys stay where you are and zip your lips and let us bring in more users who don't know what they're getting into and when they come yelling and screaming about issues, you guys deal with them for us"

Sound about right?

@Fdrcamb  I doubt it , loyalty means nothing to carriers infact loyalty just means your complacent and less likely to get the good deal you need to be willing to move around to the best deal to ever get win back deals . Not that PM gives win back plans but all other carriers do and they only give those great deals to the ones that aren’t loyal and bounce around to the best deals . But merry Christmas 🤶
