I Just heard. Koodo having 5G Plans, Now that Tips the scale

Wonder why Telus is giving Koodo the 5G when they stated that no plans currently

Perhaps What Telus really should then in this point, Discontinue the 5G for PM for Now, But, Increase the 4G LTE Advanced speeds for PM at very least, with Unlimited Data at perhaps 1MB Throttle after allocated Bucket used

Like, if they increased the speeds from the 100MB to 150MB or 200MB, that would be a better start, and then offering better Prices on the 4G LTE Advanced Plans

Also, as a side question, Though I had suggested Vid Call, If there's Things like Whatsapp, would that make Vid Call more like redundant?

Very Least, Wi-Fi Call Add-On, Visual Voicemail Add-On would be a nice thing, Unless if where Apps like Whatsapp making this more like an obsolete form too

It's post paid only, you need a credit check to get a '5G' Plan from Koodo. Nothing available with prepaid.

Ridiculous.

What is SMS Voicemail?

Earlier this week I was about to switch to Koodo, I had my account made, and I picked a new phone number that I really liked.. however, I saw the unlimited data plan for $45 with with Public (yesterday) and that sealed the deal for me continuing with Public,  as much as I wanted Telus call control, Wi-Fi calling, and voicemail to text.. having an unlimited data plan for less than $50 is far better deal

the only thing good that came out of Koodo was my new phone number that i love.. lol.

The plans Koodo offer that are similar to Public Mobiles are on the BYOD/Post Paid side, which also would have required a credit check for no reason.

The only 2 that still have to follow is Lucky & Chatr… I was going to go with Koodo last week but i logged into Public this morning and saw that they had a 5g plan 30gigs with unlimited throttling for 45$.. i can’t leave Public now that i have this plan.

Koodo Pre-Paid is not offering 5G, and without a Credit Check you can't get Koodo Post Paid.

Koodo offered 20GB for $39 on Post Paid with a Credit check, meanwhile Public Mobile doesn't require that and has the same/even better Plans.

Wonder if it's the Post-Paid or Pre-Paid side offering the 5G Plans?

Heard this on One of the Google News on my Phone

Shocked, Just hoping Telus won't Shutter PM

@makkahn28  Lol good eye . That’s great . I thought it was off PM offering 5G and not Koodo . Guess it was only matter of time . Wonder if they getting a app again next

I do find that Telus backtracking on Koodo Not having 5G at this Time to be troubling

If Telus was to be smart on this, they should do this

Make Telus Mobility the Place to Buy Phones Only

Koodo the Tier 1 Postpaid

PM the Tier 2 Prepaid whereas take the Popular stuff and make them Add-On and No Call Center

But, Very least, Give PM better 4G Speeds and then for the time being fold the 5G

Focusing on the 4G LTE Advanced Speeds Plans at very least, like make the speeds between 150MB to 200MB, and then 1MB for the Unlim Throttle Speeds

Koodo 5G.jpgThese are the Koodo 5G Plans, Under the Plans, Not the Prepaid Plans
