When porting my number to rogers, there isn't an option for a "Public Mobile" carrier. It gives Chatr though, could i just choose telus wireless or would that not work?

@club77661 weird. Rogers should have Public Mobile as one of the choices. I would say it is safer to call Rogers and have them process it manually
Also, login to your PM account and write down the account number. It is better to provide account number as the porting info

The new provider are the ones to support their new customers. This place just needs to be active and you leave this sim in to confirm the port out.

I recently ported one of my number from public mobile to rogers. I simply told rogers agent that I want to port and they sent me a text message that public mobile received my porting request to another provider and asked me to reply with yes or no for porting and I replied yes and it got ported to rogers within 10-15 min.
so conclusion is that you can talk to rogers agent about porting and they will take care of porting for you.
