5G+ support?

Can you guys give us faster 5G+ speed? n78 frequency band is available in my area. I see that when I'm on n78 frequency band, my speed can easily reach 300 Mbps then it throttles down to 250 Mbps quickly. Please allow us to use the 5G+ speed then I'll stay with Public Mobile for many years. Ideally, speeds ranging from 300 Mbps to 800 Mbps would be perfect.  Max 250 Mbps is not enough for me. I want something faster.

I think that if one has a 5G plan it would automatically connect to the new N78 frequency but the phone will show 5G connection. However I believe our PM 5G plans are capped at 250 mbps. Cut and pasting from google.———>While it will access the fast mid-band 5G network, your phone may display the standard "5G" icon rather than the newer "5G+" icon used by Canadian carriers.

there was another discussion about speed the other day, the conclusion is if you're using mobile data on your phone alone , 100Mbps is more than enough. 500 or 1GB I just gimmicks 

and PM is a tier 3 carrier, no tier 3 carrier offers anything over 250Mbps.  And in fact PM already has the best speed among tier 3.  if you really need better speed, and pay extra for that, you will have to check with Koodo or Telus

That'll be amazing. Now I'm connected to the N78 frequency band and it's more than capable enough to give me that 500 Mbps speed but the only problem is the speed limit.  The speed reaches 280 Mbps initially then it drops to 250 Mbps because of the cap.

hi @Keplr thhere is no 400Mbps download speed with PM.  If you need such plan, check Koodo or Telus as the have 5G+ plan

PM is a tier 3 carrier, not all tier 3 carriers have 5G yet.  And even they have all, tier 3 carriers offer speed around 250Mbps or less (PM is already one of the tier 3 offering the best speed)

Public Mobile 5G is advertised as 250 Mbps. I don't see that increasing anytime soon as PM is merely a 3rd tier provider and Telus would rather have you sign up with them. If you really need faster internet, I wouldn't wait for Public Mobile to speed things up.

Freedom Mobile offers 5G+ at max 900 Mbps speed. I know this won't be possible at Public Mobile. But please give us at lease 400 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. That'll greatly enhance video streaming experience. Thank you.

honest, what is the difference between 300 and 250? 

while 2Gb max is there for Telus, they need to pay extra.  For the lower-tiers plans with Telus, they are maxed at 250 as well.  (Same 250Mbps for Koodo's lower tier plans)  So, I don't see PM will jump it to 300 at all

And consider you are lucky you have 5G.  Chatr has no 5G, Lucky capped at 150Mbps, Freedom's regular plan capped at 225

PM is offering the best among Tier 3 for the price you paid
