This is something that I think is gonna be the real cliffhanger. What will PM be like in 5 Yrs time? like a 5 year mission. What we hope to see as the eventual goal. or if ppl wish to see PM remain as is, without any sort of improvements or add ons or such. I think this can offer a broader hindsight in regards to the future of Public Mobile in 5 yrs time.

It's hard to say five years a long time when it comes to technology related things

True. Very true. But at same time, as technology is evolving, so must carriers so that the services from yesterday can continue to be provided tomorrow, just more cutting edge. Plus, If ppl want data by the truckloads, maybe offering datasticks can be more efficient, or if ppl want to tether their devices to phone for data, all options must always be on the table. Plus, with fact wifi is not yet universal, and in areas already available, some of them do request a CC attachment for use of service, which can be very burdensome, and perhaps more expensive, carriers should exercise all options available, especially prepaid. Prepaid has too many limitations, and with PM's current prices off mark somewhat, and lack of international texting as such, would be a shame for carriers to revert to being too domestic. That would create too many barriers, and ppl need to have access to all available resources 24/7, perhaps PM should up the anty as part of the 5 yr business cycle, keeping up with the demands of the telecom industry

@makkahn28 - This is a great conversation starter which shows your absolute interest in Public Mobile. Here in the Public Lab we’re looking for ideas that could be implemented within a shorter timeframe such as idea that help us improve the overall Public Mobile experience.

@makkahn28 I think it would actually be near impossible to have a 5 year plan in an industy like wireless.

If you look at what wirless was like in 2010 the change today is so drastic. Check out this list of top phones of 2010; http://www.cnet.com/pictures/best-cell-phones-of-2010-photos/
Same goes with plans, if you went back 5 years into the future I don't think many people would've forseen the changes that were made to plan pricing once everything switched over to 2 year only terms.

Oh, Just curious. Mansi_G when you meant that not for us, you mean this 5 yr thing in general? If so, does it mean Public Mobile may want some things thought and brought out sooner, or just in general, all my hopes for a better Public Mobile in regards to increasing services? Just curious. Concerned that perhaps the SMS Short Codes, 411, Roaming for example may have been Chopped, which would be disheartening
