I would like to see more options for voice (I don't need unlimited) and data (e.g. 500 MB). I would also like to see the base price down at $5. If VoIP providers can offer a DID for less than $5, so can they.

(but I get the point that I must "earn" the $5 off the SIM. I just feel like you have to pay $10, get nothing in return, and then earn dollars off - give me extra credits that can be used anytime)

I live in Ottawa and work in Gatineau.

"A long distance talk add-on is required to receive incoming calls while you are outside your home province."

So I cannot get calls while at work?

Good luck Public Mobile.

@gmd That's right. You cannot get calls at work if you have an Ottawa number, and you will not get calls at home with a Gatineau number with a Province-wide plan. You will need to pay $5 more (which is cheaper than the add-on itself) to upgrade to a Canada-wide plan.

Also, the 500MB data is actually one tier of the flex data portion.

$10 base for 30 days....

But then, $150 base for 180 days...

Really?

15 times the price for only 6 times the length?

I hope you have a good explanation?

@David Here’s the thing. If you multiply the $30 30-day plan by 6, it would be $180/180 days. But if it were a 180-day plan, it would be $150 + $15 + $10 – 5 = $170/180 days, which is only $10 cheaper than paying for the $30 plan 6 times during that same period.

Note: The Talk and Text are only charged once per 180-day period in the 180-day plan.

I believe this is the Fair Value

7 Day: $5

30 Day: $10

No 180 Day, Unrealistic and overly expensive

60 Day: $15

90 Day: $20

Province-wide: $15

Canada-wide: $25

Province-wide Txt: $5

Canada-wide Txt: $10

250 Mb Data: $5

500 Mb Data: $15

750 Mb Data: $20

1 Gig Data: $25

1.5 Data: $30

2 Gig Data: $35

Makkahn, I don't think your prices are fairer than mine, because a customer who wants the old $25 plan needs to pay $15 more with your system than with mine. Someone who wants the $40 plan would pay $20 more (both prices have the discount already applied).

Also, I think global texting is a must now, and it should totally replace province-wide texting.

In my opinion, my flex data plan is the best option, because people often have an inconsistent data usage.

Ad per your request, I have replaced the 180-day plan option with a 90-day one.

Should we also introduce 360/365-day plans? If yes, what would be the price?
