Hello;

It might be be a good idea for PM to allow multiple lines on the same account also allow date sharing.

Sorry, I disagree. Share plans are simply a way for carriers to sell the same pie for a higher price. Just give me adequate data on each plan at a descent and then there will be no need to share as if data was a scarce resource.

I agree no need for share plans.

I'm with @will13am on this one. Share plans are a rip-off.

Laughable people who are against share plans

Share plans are always cheaper than stand alone plans (on every carrier since the dawn of time)

Plus the fact we would only need 1 login to manage all phones

This gets suggested and denied all the time but I say go for it

I am with @kav2001c on this, share plans are much cheaper  and more convenient in most cases.

I have 18GB/90 days it would be nice if my wife and kids can use some of it if they need it.

also one login one payment one due date for all lines.

yeah this may not seem a good idea to someone who have only one line but what if you have 3 or 4?

When I was with Rogers, they forced me in to a share plan, and I had no one to share with.  Not cool!  It was more expensive then what I needed to really pay.  Thumbs both down on this.

@kav2001c  Rogers has a

2gb  share plan for 80$(gb local calling) + 45$ for a second line = 125= $62.5pp

4gb share plan for 95$(local calling) + 45$ for a second line = 140= $70/pp

Fido is $55 for 1gb

koodo is $60 for 1gb 70 for 2gb

PM is $40/pp and $39 (after referal reward) for 1gb and $45/pp and $44 (after referal reward) for 2gb.

I think the saving justify individual plans.

It's a good idea OP theoretically speaking.

The reality, as posted above, is that more complexity creates more confusion, and it's better for PM to opt for a 'less is more' approach.

@mimmo very disingenuous

You either did not understand the concept or are trying to deflect

@kav2001c can you please back up your claim that share plans are always cheaper, using current rates.

I thought my comparisons were fair.
