you know, what if PM had a system where we, the PM Guest Client, rank and grade our PM Reps, like a report card, as this could help with not just feedbacks, what was awesome, what was ok, and what can be improved, and perhaps the PM Rep that gets the best grade of the month, gets an Employees Badge, something that serves as an incentive for PM Reps to always give their 110%.

What you think?

Some sort of feedback system is a good idea (I mean everyone does it right) but I don't know if it should be public (ha ha)

Some issues the PM Mods are only relaying info to offline people we never see/hear from so at best they are just messengers and at worst they face the firing squad

I half jokingly had made a comment that people who are verified and ranked should have more pull on forums (oracles, mods etc)

@makkahn28 if you think they're not aleady giving 110% then you haven't been paying attention to onslaught of stuff going on the past couple of weeks.

Isn't this part of what the surveys were doing?

I always find this idea agreeable in the context of rewarding extra efforts.  Badges and trophies may or may not be important motivators, but many employers and employees have discovered the merits of issuing performance-based pay incentives.

I don't really know anything about PM's internal policies, operations, and personalities.  So I can't confidently agree that it's the sort of idea which would "improve" the company.  Competition can be healthy or it can be treacherous, addictive gamification can be inspirational or it can be poisonous, and thrusting the wellfare of our beloved mods to the mob seems somewhat reckless.

The issue is that you may not work with one rep from start to finish. Also, you might think a rep is giving you bad service when it is the business model at fault. For example, the pooling of messages to all moderators to one account.

Maybe what PM requires is an extra boost of Vitamin Turbo-boost, the best a Carrier can get, lol

But, I still think PM needs something like this, in order to find out where they're excellent, where the engine lacks power, and how to churn out better results, otherwise we're all back in Sq. One

They certainly need to start proactively responding to customer feedback. 🙂

Take this, for example.

Every thing has these things, Cars have Consumer report, J.D. Power

Motor Trend

Short of 60 Mins, PM certainly needs some constructive feedback, in order to determine at what level of performance are they at, like everything, PM needs regular Tune ups every now and then, as it helps keep PM in optimized and high performance condition

Well, there is a big and stubbornly-persistent banner at the very top of the www.publicmobile.ca page which reads: "We want your feedback.  Tell us what works, what doesn't, and what you'd like to see."

Unfortunately, the feedback link is just a redirect to the Public Lab, lol, very lazy work.

But that being said, I do believe somebody (or many somebodies) on the PM staff reads through the Public Lab on a regular schedule.  I have seen that new ideas do get sorted and prioritized, considered (or dismissed), communicated internally when needed, and given public response if needed.
