Free SIM cards or refunds pending activation?

Seeing as though you (Public) have now raised the rates across the board (even the 6GB/90 day on 3G saw a $2 increase per month over the old LTE plans), why not bring back a little incentive to the consumer.

Totally free activation, pay for just the plan. 

I would understand not having free-to-order SIM cards, because I wouldn't blame people spamming a system like that after these hikes (JK), but if you could waive/refund the SIM cost after activation, it would do a little bit of good.

They used to refund the shipping i believewhen they first started (10$) but they decided to move to a $5 flat fee.  Honestly when you compare $5 vs other sim card and activations fees teh other carriers charge.

I'm just thinking it would make for a good marketing campaign. Who wants to pay any type of activation fees, even if it's shipping for a SIM card?
