The website (and in particular the self-serve portal) has been very slow in the past weeks to the point where my browser is giving up and showing errors screens. The same also affects Koodo which appears to be running on the same infrastructure.

 

My suggestion is to enhance the user experience by speeding up the self-serve portal.

As you are probably aware, Public Mobile is having a surge of new customers, and as a result, many systems have been affected.  My guess is this slowness or errors in Self Service are one such affected area.

 

For the short term, try to use the service in off hours, like after 9pm Eastern, or before 9 am.  Generally lighter traffic I would imagine.

Why PM  uses shopify for selling sim card??

 

Maybe we are on a free blog platform right now, its the reason why we have to clear the cache and use 3 differents browser just to try to enter the registration page....

For the latter part of 2016, and for 2017 we are working on improving self serve portal time to respond as well as reliabilty issues.
