@Makkahn Did you consider worldwide text messaging? It is a MUST now, according to me and Chad. Province-wide messaging is considered to be USELESS now! Where is the unlimited Canada+USA calling option?
With your system, the $25 old plan would be $38!!! Can this price be lower? It is only $30 with my system, and it DOES include worldwide text messaging.
The data portion could have been done better: Check my system for details (because mine does not have the "free data" issue (or the data-included plan becomes cheaper than its counterpart without data) if a customer subscribes to 3 services, and my system is flexible (i.e.: adjusts according to actual data usage)!
Community Imput: $5 for every 5 Solutions Successfully applied Cannot Have more than what your Paying.
If they were to offer Roaming, for example, here's my thought:
US TK: $20 for 500 Mins
US Txt: $10 for 500 Txt
$30 for 1Gig
Bundled in combo, get $5 for 2 Bundle, $10 for 3 Bundle.
Something that's fair, balanced
So, For Roaming for example, We Shop for prefixed mins, Txts and Data that either expires after 30 days or Never Expires, remains till used up and refilled like a gas tank in a car.
For SMS Premium Messaging Short Codes, The Wallet would prove to be the only Logical answer, to keep up W. Prepaid
Separate Wallet specifically for THIS service.
Also, PPL would have to sign up in the Self Serve for this feature, agreeing to ALL TOU, TOS, Legal stuff
Once that is done, and Special Wallet is packed with $$$, You receive Short Codes as long as $$$ is in system, enough $$$ to cover
When reaching $2-$5 point, receive txt from PM about Wallet reaching depletion
If No $$$ added, Service is Suspended, similar to How Our plans expire if we don't top up at the Midnight of 30 day.
Got the Idea from Public Mobile CDMA Era, in regards to Wallet for the Roaming aspect.
New Public Mobile should really look into this, as This was an Ingenius Idea, Unique, Helpful, Useful. Plus, hoping we see return of other functions, like 411 and other services, like Post-paid, Just remove the Post, and Hammer in the Pre. Yes. PM would be the Heaven of all Carriers, and That's what I hope to see in the brighter future
Public Mobile needs to seriously take this into account, when and once the timing is ripe, Personally I would prefer all these services like this. Postpaid, Begone. You belong with the dinosaur. Prepaid is the New Future. I would bet my Phone on it. Postpaid features, under the Prepaid banner, where you pay for your mins and other stuff in advance, already preset, NO Worries of accidental problems. Worry-free. Please, I really am dying for this type of service. Priced right, and presented right, This can demonstrate the effectiveness of such an important tool, Special Short Code Wallet, Preset Mins, Preset Txts and Data for Out-Of-Canada usage, in US, or Cuba, or anywhere around the Globe. The world is Ours to discover. Let Public Mobile lead the way
This would at least offer some sort of flexibility for Clients who want the conveniences of all-in-one- super center like carrier, + allowing Clients who want the option of buying their Sims from countries they go to visit. That would be My take on a No-Frills, Have-it anyway you wish, I would happily pay for the convenience, as long as the price wasn't super steep, like $100 for all that on top of our Rate plans. Plus, If PM did offer something similar to what I presented, Hopefully Us ol' grandfolks can benefit from this w/o having to make Da switch, unless necessary, then I would BE More than Happy to Switch, for if PM brought ALL THESE BACK, I would feel like I won Lotto Max, $50 Million
Plus, W. Short Codes, PPL like Truck drivers can check important weather reports, or News bullitons, plus PPL who want to catch up on Movies, Cineplex Short Codes offers such presents from time to time, or Free coffee and food from 7-11, Let the Customer have the option to have full options on DA Table. Just my Opinion. Not sure others agree, But, I at least would love to see the benefits of such services being rendered from a Prepaid carrier. I could Love it, or Hate it, but at least the option exists.
