the nokia 3310 3g will also work with "wcdma" ?
The North American variant has the frequencies needed.
Once you get the phone and insert your SIM card it is likely automatically connecting with the Telus / Public Mobile network. If it doesn't you'll go into settings and select the according network preference ("WCDMA" or "GSM/WCDMA auto", whatever is available in the menu.)
While setting up your new phone you should also double check the APN settings so that you can receive MMS and use data if applicable.

my mms work fine
when i set it for "auto" my phone start to searching
in order not to search i need to set it "wcdma"
if i will set it to "gsm" i will have no service at all
i ask if the nokia will also work with "wcdma"
If you force the connection to GSM only the phone will not work in the Telus / Public Mobile network because Telus doesn't use GSM technology.
If you buy the North American variant the Nokia 3310 3G will work on the Telus network. The network settings in your phone needs be set to WCDMA or GSM/WCDMA auto, depending on the options available.

Generally speaking, the 3G coverage is as good or better than LTE. Put it this way, up until not that long ago when Telus started rolling out VoLTE, 3G had to work in order to cover phone calls. If a lot of places had no 3G, those places basically would have lost cell coverage.

This phone will work on the Public Mobile network if the information shown on the B&H website is accurate. They describe the model as being a North America variant. The specs show 850/1900 Mhz for 3G service. This is exactly what is needed for use on the Public Mobile service.

NO, that phone is not compatible on Public Mobile as per https://willmyphonework.net/.
EDIT: For the non 3G model.
