I'm on an old flip phone and my eyes aren't all that good any more. I'm 72. I can't be entering a password every time I want to check my voicemail. I don't mean I don't want to, I mean I can't. I don't text, texting is impossible on these old phones. How can I set up my voicemail so no password is required?

Won't work. I'm asked for a password immediately. I can't get into any main menu.

Dial your own number from your Public Mobile phone.  When in your mailbox main menu:

1. press 4, then
2. press 8

After pressing 8, you should hear confirmation that password is off.  To turn it back on, press 8 again.

Please note  you'll still be required to enter the password when checking voicemail from another phone, this just disabling VM pin when you call from your PM phone
