if you already have a new phone number now with PM but you want your old number ported into PM?
First, make sure your number is still active on the old provider
Confirm if your number can be trasnferred here:
https://secure.koodomobile.com/checktransfereligibilityparrot/default.do
If it is "portable", Then you can request trasnfer:
If your old number is NOT from Koodo prepaid, you can initiate the porting request from My Account. Login to My Account and go to Profile page, click Change Phone Number, then go to Transfer Phone Number tab and follow the steps from there.
'
But if you old phone number is from Koodo Prepaid, then you will need the help from PM support for manual porting help. Please engage them via this direct link: https://urlshortner.tiia.ai/Rqg6DB

As @darlicious indicated, the most important step in porting your old number over to PM is to reply to the text confirming you are porting over to PM within the 90 minute window with the old SIM in the phone.
If you missed this step, you will need to contact a CS_Agent by creating a ticket on SIMon Chatbot on the bottom of this page or private message them on envelope icon above to restart the porting process for you.
If your old carrier is Telus or Koodo to get your old number back.
Their hours are 6:00am to 10:00pm EST.
If your old carrier is not Telus/Koodo then you will stick to the new number.

Do you not want your old number? Did you reply YES to the PAT (porting authorization text) within 90 minutes of receiving it? You can contact the telus porting department to reinitiate your port request in the morning or if you are 100% sure you want a new number you can change your phone number up to 4 times per 30 days on your profile page in your self serve account.
If you have autopay set up on your old account or it's a postpaid plan you will need to cancel your postpaid account and/or remove your payment card from a prepaid account to ensure that your account will suspend and eventually be canceled. Otherwise porting out automatically cancels your account.
