I keep getting message that my texts are not being sent public error 2 i have loads of data and this just started yesterday need the ability to receive and send texts as I am in contact with a person that only texts help!!!

One of my phones had something like this a couple days ago. I chose to do a full power off restart. Maybe airplane would have worked. Maybe a simple restart too. But I went all the way. It fixed.

Try disabling any RCS services on the device by toggling off iMessage or Android chat, depending on which one may be being used.
If Android, try adjusting Chat messages options:
tap Messaging app,
tap 3 little dots top right,
select Settings,
under Chat settings, scroll to "Select default messaging type",
toggle it to Automatic or Text/multimedia msg
For Apple, adjust the iMessage settings:
tap the Settings app,
tap Messages,
turn iMessage off by toggling the switch to grey from green.

@ccgirl Hav e you tried rebooting your phone? Or reset network settings ? Also is it possible for you to try SIM card in another phone and see if services work correctly? . also check
