Sim card rarely become defective. You need to contact customer service agent for further help.

I did still not working and I inserted the sim card in another phone and texting still not working. Im thinking sim card defective could it be?

More details would be helpful? Is data and talk working?
Might want to reboot your phone. Network reset of phone.
