hi !
my plan price is 52$ per 30days but on my credit card I keep getting charged $56. I am also signed up for auto pay hence a $2 reward. So shouldn't my payment on my credit card be $50? Are there some taxes I'm not seeing?
Any help would be much appreciated! 🙂

Ha - the math is all over the place in this thread. Sounds like you're being charged $50 + 13% tax = $56.50 total (or I guess a slightly different amount based on your province's tax, if you're not in Ontario).

Yes all plan prices are listed before tax. So your $52 plan - $2 autopay discount =$50 now add tax I am in BC so will add 12%. 50 *1.12=$56

@raghuprasad wrote:I think your total amount is
Tax: 52 * .13 = 6.76
Total 52+6.76=58.76
Less $2 reward = 56.76
Hope this helps
Rewards are added before tax, not after, because the actual sale is $50, and only the actual sale is taxable.

As shown in the math of the first of the previous posts, rewards are deducted first from your 'Plan Price', then applicable taxes are added to get your total.
Your telephone area code designates the province the taxes to be applied.

I think your total amount is
Tax: 52 * .13 = 6.76
Total 52+6.76=58.76
Less $2 reward = 56.76
Hope this helps

Sales tax.
(52 base - 2 autopay) * (100% + 13% assuming Ontario) = $56.5
