I tried to port my number from another operator. It failed.
In the meantime, in public mobile phone app I tried getting a temporary number, so I clicked on change number.
and even after that, the esim in my phone doesn't get service.
Now I'm worried if I follow up with my previous provider to port the number, the number will be ported and changed.
I don't want to loose my previous phone number.
This is a major issue on PC side that let's you change phone number before activation has happened, which leads to user thinking they are getting temporary number while working on a failed porting.
Give me a clarification and a solution.
If you can revert the phone number change in my account, and I'll retry porting my number from previous provider.
