Is your account active or suspended? Dial 611 to check the status of your account.
If suspended then make a manual payment to restore service.
If active, just reset the Network settings on your phone.

are you in BC? there is some wireless issue in the area:https://www.telus.com/en/bc/outages
maybe that is the reason of the data trouble

make sure Mobile Data is enabled on the phone and and make sure data limit is not enabled
then Reboot your phone and reset network settings
