estimated Reward is lower than required payment

Shayne_

My estimated payment for my renewal month shows:

Plan cost: $141

total rewards earned: $18

Available funds in your account: $27

total estimated payment: $96

When I precede to renew my 3 month plan my payment total does not add up with my estimated rewards. Is something wrong? Again the estimated reward is $96 and my total payment actually required is $114, why is this? Thanks!

I think OP is seeing $114 on the manual payment page that is for some reason only deducts available balance and not rewards. OP, If you already contacted mod, let them handle it. If not, just add $96 to your account and it should renew just fine.

okay I will do that momentarily, but yes my service was cut off and it has not taken a payment from my account.

You should send a private message to @CS_Agent asap and provide them with your public mobile phone number.  There has been a rise in number of failed renewals in the last few days.

Question:  did you lose service?  If your mobile service is not interrupted, its best to just leave it alone.

Okay so the estemated reward page shows the total of $96

But when I actually proceed to make a payment Its asking for $114

I signed up for auto pay however, it is past my auto pay date and my plan did not renew for whatever reason... I am starting to think that the $6 auto pay is not being facoterd in for some reason? becuase $114 - 6 would bring it to 108 which is roughly what $96 is when you add on tax.

@Shayne_@mimmo 's answer is spot on.  The rewards will only be moved to "Available funds" on the renewal day.  Hope this makes sense.

Thank you that is a good thought, but it still wouldnt add up. $141 (original ammount owed) Minus $27 (available funds in my account) brings me to $114 (which is what public mobile says is my ammount oweing)

So that means that the $18 (from total rewards earned) jsut simplily is not being factored into my discount and is not being subtracted from my total.

I believe rewards are not awarded until renewal date. So just top up with the estimated amount you need.

On your renewal date they will take effect.

@Shayne_, Your estimated reward is not $96.  As shown you have earned $18  in reward, have $27 in available funds.  $96 is what you still owe if you are on autopay or is what you need to put into the account.  I am not sure where the $114 is coming from?  Is that what you were charged on your credit card?

Hey @Shayne_,

The only thing I can think of is the tax.  In Ontario, $96 + tax = 108.48.

Consider adding the tax for your province and then see if things add up more accurately.

EDIT:  Still doesn't add up to $114.  Even with 15% tax its around $110.
