Does anyone have an issue playing Honkai Star Rail on an eSim? It works on WiFi. It works when tethered to another Public Mobile phone. It works on WiFi. Other things that have been tried are: restarting the game, restarting the phone, reinstalling the game. The game works with a phone with a physical Sim but not load on a phone with an eSim. The plan hasn't changed from when it working with the previous physical SIM phone so it's not the plan. The error listed on HSR is 1001_1. Users on XFinity/ComCast have gotten around the error using a VPN so it suggests that the issue is a configuration on the provider side. Has anyone come across this and has anyone found a fix?

It is not a problem with eSIM, it is likely resulted from PM throttle gaming traffic. But it should still connect, just slower
You can try Reboot phone and Reset Network Settings
And some needs to get around the throttle by using VPN
If course, you can ask PM to check it you can buy another eSIM
To ask help from PM, just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen
