I have subscribed to Public Mobile, paid for a eSIM and requested to have phone # transferred from Koodo. But it doesn’t work

you;ll be getting a confirmation text from Kodoo to which you'll reply YES within 90 mins. Then you can disable their esim and make the Public Mobile esim as the primary.
added ...is your Kodoo account prepaid or post ? If prepaid Koodo plan, you will need to pick a temporary number then contact a CS_Agent to help you complete your porting. Use this link to message Customer Support for their help...
