The first thing i would do is check that the data addon shows in your overview page. It's not hard to accidentally use up data even if recently renewed.

Try restarting your phone. If that doesn't work log into your account, report you phone as lost, log out, wait 5 minutes, log back in and report it found, then restart your phone again.

@Millertime, do you happen to have an android device and have data limits set on your phone? This service uses 30 day cycles and android uses monthly cycles. The two do go together too well sometimes.
When you say that you renewed recently, did you check the account to make sure everything is in order in the self serve account. Do you see a fresh batch of data showing in the overview tab?
