credit card went thought even with wrong province??

Just thought i woudl post this,  kind of the oppisite of what typically happens activated a sim card just now (thanks for the sim you know who).  anyways entered all teh credit card info and pressed submit, and i see AB instead of BC in the province box.  im oh #*@* what will happen.  5 seconds later i'm at the confirmation page and all seems to be good.   

  Just thought I would share as i am assuming the credit card verifcation should fail if the wrong province is entered.  The only thing I can think of is that when you click submit it clears everything and defaults to AB....     just happy that i was able to activate.

@will13amI have used a Buffalo PO box for years so I really do have a legit postal code

Its crazy how much the s&h jumps as soon as you ship into Canada

I've saved thousands by this point

It's just funny how lax some verification systems are

True story

17 year old wanted to get a cell phone

Guy in store changed the date of birth (making them 1 year older)

System accepted it and they passed credit check

Meanwhile others (who own multiple houses even) are told they need security deposits

Go figure that out

In a pinch, 90210 would be the only thing that comes to mind for me.

Good to know.  Screw up the unit number and there's huge scorn from the system.  Miss it by one province and who cares.  Nice.
