Its really easy, make sure you don't close your Koodo before attempting the port. Go to the public mobile sim activation page once you have bought your Public Mobile sim from London Drugs etc, then you can activate online. During the process you will be asked if you have a number to port. You will need to know your current network provider account number and security pin number to begin the port. You will receive a message from your current provider usually within an hour after replying YES to the text message to allow the port. Once this si done wait for your old providers sim to lose service. At this point you can remove it and install your new Public Mobile Sim card and you can begin a new cheaper mobile life on Public Mobile! Welcome 🙂

@Yhache :Thank you for marking your thread as solved, but you've clicked the wrong button, there is an accepted solution button above every post not only mine - so you should choose the post that helped you most, which in this case is the post by @RossN where he posted right under your original post and you replied thank you.

You would need to keep your account active during the porting process and then it will be closed automatically after the port has been completed.

@Yhache wrote:from koodo to public
you need to contact a moderator to help you can do so by clicking the chat bubble at the lower right corner,to avoid going around in circles with Simon say that you want a human to speak to, a ticket will then be generated briefly mention your issue port koodo number
you should get a response between 2 to 48 hours a reply should show up in your little envelope in the top right corner, you can also send a private message to the Moderators by clicking here.
