Then when you activate, Step 2 would ask you about the phone number, click "I want to bring my existing phone number with me". Next step would then ask you for your phone number to transfer, then your provider.
Also, when ask for your old provider information, it is better to provider account number then IMEI

@IsabelleBrown assuming that you already have a public mobile Sim card just go to activation, you can port your lucky mobile number while activating. Just leave your lucky Sim card in your phone so that you get the text that public mobile wants to port your number, then text yes and after doing that you can remove the lucky Sim card and insert the public mobile Sim card in your phone. While activating don't forget to use a refferal code to get a 10$ credit on your new public mobile account. If you have any trouble just post here and someone will guide you in the right direction! @IsabelleBrown hi it is very straight forward go here to activate https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/portal/activation just port your number during activation,make sure old account is active
