activating sim card

i only have the sim card , can i still use it without the number that comes with .

@vanronald3  sorry i think i misunderstood teh question.  as @dollardaver  the sim card number shoudl be printed on the sim. use taht number to activate it.  (as long as it has never been activated before)

sim card is not associated with a number out of the box it will come inactive

It's the tiny 15 digit # printed on the sim! You can use it for sure.

sim card com unactivated. you need to activate teh sim card. during activation you can choose a new number or port an existing number.  you can also port a number avter activation. (this is teh reccomended procedure)
