Wind or Koodo porting problems? Refer to this post!

Hey everyone... I noticed this past week that people porting from Wind and Koodo are having issues with changing their numbers. If you recall, these customers are asked to first setup a temporary phone number and to then initiate a port through their My Account, Change Number option.

 

On Tuesday this past week, @atkwai experienced this problem and posted a question with screenshots. The solution had to do with clicking the "I am authorized..." checkbox first, and then proceeding to enter your information.

Hopefully this will help some of the new customers. If anyone has had some first hand experience like atkwai, please post in this thread! Robot Happy

Hi Folks: I have followed  The direction in the post to the t.  I did check off I am authorized before typing in my ported number.  I also picked a public mobile number a few days before porting.  Have been waiting since Thursday for my service to be back up after I ported my Kudo number   My public mobile number for days before that was working great.  There is something wrong with the porting procedure even if you do everything per instructions.
