Weird text message received from PM

Just received a weird text claiming to be from PM (#512-9):

 

"We're here to help. Visit our community for issues with your service. If we can't solve your issue you can also contact the CCTS @ ccts-cprst.ca or 1-888-221-1687"

 

I haven't experienced any issues recently, everything seemed to be good. What is the reason of this text message?

Above is correct. As @chukdefatey mentioned, it's an industry-wide mandate.

As I said it comes from time to time but its most likely to Come when you switch service providers and or have filled a complain with the service provider or with the CCTS

Have never received any for 8 years using cell phone in Canada 🙂

All Service Providers send a similar message from time to time that mentions the CCTS
