Hi,
my voice mail is delayed very much - hours. I tried reboot of the device (multiple times). Each time after reboot - the notification arrives right away. If the device is not rebooted - it takes hours for the notification to arrive. I tried clearing cache on the phone app as suggested in other posts and also clearing data. For now - I cannot find anything that can make the notifications arrive promptly.
If anybody has experience with this phone - please advise.
Thank you

Visual voicemail is a feature where you can get voicemail on your phone as a file and you can play/delete without calling in. But this feature is not available on Public Mobile. The settings can be found in the phone app. I am not sure if turning off will work, but here are some topic with similar problems that might help:

@NDesai I don't think there is a setting for Visual Voicemail for OnePlus... at least, I don't see it on my OP5T, updated yesterday to the latest OxygenOS 5.1.3 on Android 8.1
One Plus probably have their own phone app? I was referring to the Google phone app.

Just wanted to let you know that the issue is now fixed.
I had to contact the moderator team, they did some changes on PM side. After that I recycled the phone (I actually turned it off completely and powered it up).
So - my suggestion is - if clearing the cache does not help - then contact a moderator. If this does not work - then contact OnePlus (in my case). I did open a case with OnePlus and they were ready to troubleshoot further if everything was ok on the providor side.
I am glad it works now.

I wonder if using a different dialer would resolve the problem.

@vbs it's a popular issue for OnePlus phone. It's software hardware from OnePlus they cannot fix it until now. The best way to fix them right now is switch Visual Voicemail to off. You go to Call settings, select your primary SIM card that is in use, and go through Voicemail settings, and disable Visual Voicemail. Now you will receive notifications as expected, but Visual Voicemail will not be available to you. Hope that helps
