Unregistered SIM

Hey guys, using a S10 and my plan lapsed 3 days ago. I topped up today but now my phone says "unregistered sim". I have removed and reinserted the sim, checked my imei number using the look up offered on the get started page but I'm stuck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What is your account status? If your plan isn’t active, do you see an option to reactivate it?

@alexkaykay89What is your current account status? Have you confirmed the last digits of the sim are still the one associated with the account? You can loginto self self serve and see *****XXXX for the current registered sim

You could try to put the PM Sim card in another unlocked phone to see whether the service works.  This helps distinguish between hardware issue versus PM service problem.

If you put money into your self-serve account and the sim still says unregistered, you'll probably have to get the Moderator Team to help you by writing them a private message, here's a link if you don't already know how:

They'll take up to a few days to write you back, but when they do they'll fix everything for you, in meantime while you're waiting you can try to reset your account yourself by reporting your phone lost via your self-serve account - then after you've reported it lost you can report it found again via your self-serve account again, and sometimes that can help fix glitches like yours.

What do you mean "lapsed"? Suspended, deactivated?

Checking IMEI "stuck"...what do you mean?

Try devicecheck.ca for that IMEI as well.

@alexkaykay89Did you top up AND start a new plan? Topping up just add money to your account and not necessarily enroll you to a plan. If you have a new plan.. try the Lost / Found trick. That would "reset" your plan on Public Mobile's end.. though make sure you power down your phone at each step, so your phone will listen for the instructions pushed down from Public Mobile's tower.
